Prosper Garage 🤝 Dollar General August 26'

We've been keeping this one a big secret🙊 but we think its time we let it out!

Over the last 18 months we've been in the works to bring a major chain into our little town, and who else would we welcome into Prosper but Dollar General! This has been a huge deal to make as not only will this give the residents of Prosper a local store to buy groceries and home amenities but this location will also serve as a "test store" for the franchise. What will make this Dollar General different than the rest is the collaboration with the Prosper Garage. We will be providing parking for approximately 30 big rigs in a new north parking lot and with doing so Dollar General will also serve as a 24hr truckstop with hot food and showers for its guests. We are not the only ones excited, the executives at DG have been over the moon about this collaboration with us, some even calling the idea "The Celina 52 Truck Stop of the north". Be on the lookout for construction progress soon going on at your first stop into Minnesota. Grand opening estimated August 2026

We cannot wait to see the success of this partnership grow and prosper(pun intended😉) but to also branch out and bring both of us to a town near you!

I have to give an honorable mention to the employees here at the Prosper Garage.

With the current weather conditions this morning I was stuck in a situation many other parents in the area faced; school and daycare cancelations due to the weather. I reached out to everyone to let them know I would not be in until someone was able to watch my kids. The cameras began going off after 8. I looked and was suprised to see Steven took it upon himself to brace the cold and not only dig out the plow but hook it up and clear the snow out of the driveway right away so our delivery drivers and customers have a clear path. Not only this but when I arrived to the shop Erin was outside shoveling out the doorways. Both Steven and Erin not only have jobs inside in the warm shop, but have never been asked to do these jobs outside. Yet they took it upon themselves to go above and beyond and do what had to be done. Definently not expected, however fully appreciated.

Prosper Garage may be the largest employer in the town of Prosper, but, our small team still tries to go above and beyond every chance they get. We are definitely lucky to have the crew we have at the shop!

We've been excited to show off our newly remodeled office area! The shop office hasn't changed much since the 60s and we believed it was time for an update. The office could not have turned out any better.
