Today we gave a product demonstration on the Eagle Debeader.

This machine can pull the bead (clean, with minimal rubber) from both sides of car, pickup, and SUV tires in one pull. It can also pull the bead from super single truck tires one at a time.

Hydraulic powered tire balers are highly impactful in the processes of reclaiming rubber in the effort to recycle the approximately 1 billion tires that reach the end of their lifespan each year across the globe, according to tireindustryproject.org. These tires can become a valuable resource with careful research, planning and management to reclaim the natural rubber, polymers, steel and textiles that go into the makeup of a modern tire.

Rather than discarding end-of-life tires at dumpsites, tire balers play an important role in transportation, storage and reuse.

Heavy-duty hydraulic rams compress loose tires into dense, uniform bales. When stacked correctly and depending on tire sizes, the Eagle International line of balers can compress approximately 100 scrap tires into two different sized bales, depending on the need. This uniformity makes it easier for the tires to be transported, stored or used in building or civil engineering projects. The volume reduction limits the risk for fire, accounts for easier loading and unloading and lowers transportation costs per ton. This increases a bale’s marketability and practicality for inspection, pricing and freight across regional and global markets.
