Some jobs fight you every step of the way... this 2007 Ford F-150 4WD 5.4L was one of them.

The engine was completely seized, which meant there was no way to rotate the crankshaft and access the torque converter bolts. Instead of taking shortcuts, we tackled it the right way.

✅ Removed both driveshafts
✅ Dropped the transfer case
✅ Pulled the transmission
✅ Removed the seized engine

Big things happening in the shop! 🔥

We're tearing into this 2005 Dodge Neon SRT-4 for a full performance overhaul. The transmission is coming out for upgraded internals from Werks Racing to handle more power and improve reliability when the boost gets turned up.

While we're at it, the engine is coming out for a complete build, and we're stepping up to a larger turbo setup to unlock even more horsepower. 💨

This isn't just a parts swap—it's a full transformation designed to make this SRT-4 faster, stronger, and ready for whatever gets thrown at it.

Follow along as we document the build from teardown to first startup and final tuning. The finished result is going to be a monster. 👊
