Ok… We’ve only recently reached our 1yr milestone here in lunenburg! But we’re unfortunately booking a month out currently, with no signs of scheduling relief, and i dont like it…
That being said, it might be a good time to start discussing hiring.. Before posting a formal job listing on indeed etc. , I’ll share here what we are hoping to find!
Our best suited find would be a reliable part time candidate familiar in the automotive realm in some capacity. Past experience tells me this could probably turn into full time position fairly quickly, but won’t know intil we give it a try.
Must be 18+ with valid drivers license to comply with minimum equipment operation age requirements. Zero tolerance policy for substance use on company time.
Expectations include, but are not limited to:
shop cleanup: involves putting tools away, sweeping floors (a lot), bagging trash- etc.
Basic auto shop work: Setting cars up on lift, pulling wheels, changing tires, and more.
Auto sales prep: vacuum,wash, interior cleaning and minor pre delivery used car prep.
Dealer lot maintenance: parking, jump starting, moving, arranging small dealership inventory.
All in all, it’s a great foot in the door for someone that hopes to grow their automotive knowledge. This is an entry level position, with TONS of training & growth opportunities, working alongside an owner who has trained countless technicians over the years.
