🔥 BUILT, LIFTED, AND READY TO RUN 🔥
This 1999 Chevy Silverado 1500 4x4 came to us looking for a little more power than the factory 4.8L could offer. What started as a simple engine upgrade quickly turned into one nasty street and highway truck.
Under the hood is a fully built 5.3L from our friends at Mast Motorsports featuring a Gen 4 crankshaft, Gen 4 rods, forged pistons, Mast Motorsports camshaft, and Mast as-cast cylinder heads. The combination dyno’d at 510 horsepower at the crank and completely woke this truck up.
After driving it, the customer decided he wanted even more. Back into the shop it came for a Holley Hi-Ram intake, 102mm Holley Sniper throttle body, new Holley IAC and TPS sensors, Aeromotive 355 LPH fuel pump, Aeromotive fuel pressure regulator, and brand-new injectors. While we were there, we ditched the mechanical fan, converted it to a 2005+ radiator, and wired in factory electric fans.
Of course, it also received long tube headers and a Borla Pro XS muffler to let that built 5.3 breathe and sound the way it should.
Sitting on a 6-inch BDS lift with 35s, this Silverado has the stance, the sound, and the power to match. If you see this truck coming down the road, you might want to move over—this thing is looking for open pavement. 😎

P.S. Holley, if y’all are watching, we’re still accepting donations for the “Cruisin’ The Coast Or Bust” OBS project. 😎 We’re also still looking for ideas on accessory drive setups for the build… although a Holley mid-mount kit would sure make that decision easy. 👀
