📦 Community Care Drive: Supporting the Springfield Supported Housing Program

Here at Benson's Chevrolet, we believe in looking out for our neighbors. Right now, many individuals and families in our surrounding communities are facing severe housing challenges and homelessness.We are proud to partner with the Springfield Supported Housing Program (SSHP) to host a collection drive right here at the dealership to provide immediate, practical support for those in need.

Items Most Needed: We are collecting essential personal hygiene products and reliable camping gear to help individuals stay safe, clean, and warm.

As we head into the holiday weekend, the team at Benson’s Chevrolet wants to take a moment to pause and reflect on what Memorial Day is truly about.

While it often marks the unofficial start of summer, backyard BBQs, and road trips, its core purpose is much closer to our hearts. On Monday, we remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving our country. Their courage, dedication, and selflessness are the reasons we enjoy the freedoms we have today.

Today, May 15th, Benson’s Chevrolet joins our community in observing Peace Officers Memorial Day.

We pause to honor the local, state, and federal officers who have made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. Their bravery and unwavering commitment to the safety of Ludlow and our surrounding Vermont communities will never be forgotten.

Congratulations to Bob Glidden! He’s a great person we all love to see and chat with.

SAVE THE DATE: June 30th will be Bob Glidden's last day as chief of the Proctorsville Fire Department. The PVFD is inviting the public to stop by the fire house from 4:30-6:30 pm to honor the incredible contribution Bob has made to our community for the last 56 years. At 6:30 Chief Glidden will get a ride home on E2. Thank you Bob for your generosity and your commitment!
