When a repeat customer needs a repair and doesn’t live in my working area, we make it work! Because she chose me over multiple other companies in town closer to her. And opted to drive to meet me part way. I worked my day around being able to meet her in Saraland. I appreciate Quick Trip(QT) for being a safe location for me to provide this service to her. And of all things I got to talking and forgot to take a before picture šŸ™„ super awesome mini windshield umbrella all in thanks to The PipeKnife Company

šŸš’ Did You Know? šŸš’

Ever noticed those blue reflectors in the middle of the road and wondered what they’re for?

They aren’t there for decoration!

Those blue reflectors are used to mark the location of nearby fire hydrants, helping firefighters and first responders quickly locate a water source during emergencies—especially at night, in bad weather, or when hydrants are hidden by grass, bushes, parked vehicles, or snow in some areas.

When every second counts, these small markers can help save valuable time.

So the next time you spot a blue reflector in the roadway, you’ll know it’s pointing firefighters to a fire hydrant nearby! šŸ”„šŸ’§

šŸ’™ A small marker with a big job.

I just love a fresh repair! The constant rain in our forecast has made me rearrange my schedule quite a bit. I’m very appreciative of everyone’s patience while I do what Mother Nature allows me to.

I mean, it is what it is! šŸ˜‚šŸ«£ I try my best to keep up the content but honestly. I get so busy with the actual repair side of the business that I’m too exhausted to do the content side. The repairs pay me more than the content sooooo that’s where my time will be # Alabama

Went to a charming little custard shop today in Mobile, AL. Whit’s. I’d never known it was there. Sometimes getting called out to do a repair opens your eyes to new places.

When your bestie snaps some shots while you’re fixing a windshield for her …

Did you know I do rock chip repairs??! I come to you or if it’s after hours or weekend you’re welcome to bring to me if I’m not out of town. I strictly specialize in rock chips. Therefore I spend more time mastering repairing these chips versus those (name we shall not say) that primarily do replacements, don’t have as many chip repairs under their belt and hire/train new people more than they keep long term techs. So you end up with a rookie working on your very pricey windshield.

I’m not saying choose me…I’m just saying go with the tech that’s going to be picky about the look of the repair no matter the company you choose.

Rain, rain… go away! šŸŒ§ļø

This week’s weather has definitely made windshield repairs a little more challenging, but thankfully we’ve been able to sneak a few in between the showers!

I’ve had a couple of customers swing by the house for quick driveway repairs while the rain held off, and today’s repair was one of my favorites—a super fresh rock chip that cleaned up beautifully! šŸ‘

The sooner a chip is repaired, the better the outcome. Waiting allows dirt, moisture, and debris to work their way in, making it harder to achieve the best possible repair.

If you’ve spotted a fresh chip in your windshield, don’t wait for the next round of rain to make it worse. Send me a message and let’s get it fixed before it turns into a crack!

Getting to fix a chip this big right after it happens leads to a much prettier and cleaner repair. Customer called immediately and came right to me to get it fixed. Prevented a run and prevented a replacement being needed on a pricey new windshield. Thank the good Lord for holding off on more rain and making this repair possible this evening. Also fixed a couple of little road rash spots so he wouldn’t have to look at those spots even if they’d never run.

I’d like to retract my statement of ā€œwe needed thisā€(šŸŒ§ļø). Because we in fact DO NOT need anymore of this (ā›ˆļøā›ˆļøā›ˆļøā›ˆļøšŸŒ©ļøāš”ļø).
