Electric Wheelchair with Custom App Controlled Lights & Music!

The 2026 CITY 2 Travel Buggy came into Vernon’s Signature Audio for a unique LED transformation! We took this wheelchair to the next level by installing custom LED lighting while maintaining its original functionality. The challenge? Making sure the LEDs could stay illuminated while driving. To accomplish this, we designed and built a custom XLR plug adapter to bypass the OEM system, allowing the wheelchair to operate with the LED lighting on.

This project combined creative problem-solving, custom electrical fabrication, and precision installation to deliver a unique transformation without sacrificing functionality. Check out the finished build and see how we brought this CITY 2 Travel Buggy to life!

We’re proud to announce that Vernon’s Signature Audio has been nominated for the 2027 Mobile Electronics Industry Awards Top 50 Retailers of the Year.

This submission is about more than the vehicles we build. It’s an opportunity to tell the story of VSA — who we are, what we believe in, how we’ve grown, and what separates our shop from others in the mobile electronics industry.

In our Top 50 Retailer submission, we walk through our company history and years in business, our team, our business philosophy and mission, what differentiates VSA within the industry, our sales performance over the past three years and the reasons behind that performance, why we believe our location deserves to be recognized among the Top 50 Retailers, and a complete walkthrough of our shop.

For us, this nomination represents years of continuing to raise our standards — in craftsmanship, system design, customer service, business operations, and the experience we provide every customer who trusts us with their vehicle.

Being considered among the Top 50 retailers in the Mobile Electronics Industry is an honor in itself. We’re proud of what our team has built, grateful to our customers who continue to support us, and excited to represent Vernon’s Signature Audio and West Texas in the 2027 Mobile Electronics Industry Awards.
