The starter motor and coolant leak repairs on this Dodge Caravan have been successfully completed. To safely access and replace the starter motor, the technician had to remove the aluminum engine mount bracket and the corresponding engine mounts (rubber-and-metal isolating blocks shown at the bottom). These components obstruct the tight clearance around the starter housing on this vehicle. With the new starter installed and the cooling system leak resolved, all structural mounts have been reinstalled and torqued to specification, restoring full vehicle operation.
