My last project was a 2002 Chevrolet Silverado 3500 Duramax 6.6L Diesel. 170,000 miles

Problem: White smoke and bad smell from exhaust. Will not pass emissions.

Solution: Change Fuel injectors and Fuel Filter. Change Oil/Filter. Flush Coolant (had to with injector change)

With the help of InjectorsDirect.com and their awesome products I was able to get this truck back up and running and running like new!

Using 5w-40 AMSOIL Diesel Signature Series oil and 25k mile filter. This truck is ready for the long haul. It was a great project that was full of excitement and a few hiccups along the way!

Diesel Fuel Injector/Fuel line replacement

I know it's been awhile but that is because I have had some automotive projects I have been working on! Take a look at the photos from a 2002 Buick Rendezvous. This SUV had 147,000 miles on it. Here is what I did:

1. Oil Change with 5w-30 AMSOIL Signature Series and 25k mile filter

2. Coolant Flush with AMSOIL 5yr/150,000 mile Antifreeze

3. Replace leaky coolant hose

4. Front Strut/Rear shock replacement

5. Gas struts for the rear hatch to open and close like new!

Have you ever wondered if your oil is actually protecting the way it is supposed to? What about your engine having some unknown issues?

With oil analysis/fluid analysis, a sample of your fluid can be sent off to a lab to be tested for a variety of elements to make sure you are getting the best protection!

Having an oil change coming up? Near the mile mark or yearly mark? Have your oil tested! It will tell you how the oil is performing and if an oil change is needed!

This can save you money and protect the environment with possibly not having to throw out good oil that is still doing its job! Filter change and top off can sometimes be the cure for some more mileage! Saving you money!

Start of some good leadership training for AMSOIL! Finally made it!

So I decided to up my game and prolong the life of my differentials today.

I changed the rear differential and front differential with AMSOIL Severe Gear Oil 75W-90. If you plan on doing a lot of towing or off-road adventuring I would highly recommend it!

My 2015 Dodge Ram 2500 only has 21000 miles on it and each mile I have had the luxury of putting on. The oil I took out was not bad looking but all the metal shavings worry me!

The rear differential had a layer of metal shavings caked on the service plug. Cleaned it up and sucked out the old oil then put in the clear brand new AMSOIL. I'll be checking the service plug more often!

The front had some shavings on the service plug as well. The 4-wheel drive was used very sparingly as most of my driving is highway or in town (used in the winter months when the roads are a bit icy for better traction starting out).

I'll be doing the same service to my wife's 2013 Dodge Durango (has about 35,000 miles on it). I'll post pictures of hers which is AWD.

Interesting news about Diesel oils. Shell did a study regarding samples of their oil and Mobil 1. AMSOIL also did a study and the results are below. AMSOIL is still the leader when it comes to extending the life of your engine. I personally use it in my Diesel truck.
