The kids are finally back to school and we are back into the usual routine. It’s now time to think about routine maintenance. To many times I’ve seen a perfectly good car go south because the timing belt wasn’t replaced. A lot of the vehicles will have catastrophic failure and bend valves in the head when the belt brakes and the repair goes from $800 to $2500 or more. To all the parents who have new drivers. Make sure your kids have it instilled in them the value of properly maintaining their car. Nothing worse than a car that has an early death do to lack of simple preventive maintenance. Just because it starts doesn’t mean it’s happy. Ever forward,happy motoring 😀

Hope everyone is having a great start to the new year. We at Dr.Zoom want to be as environmentally conscious as we can. Between now and the end of February 20% oil service. All used oil is recycled on site and used for our wast oil heater. Help keep the guys in the shop warm and schedule an oil change today 😀

To all the motorists out , today was another sad day in the operating room ☹️ an older Volvo was towed in. The owner said it quit running while going down the road. Inspected and found the timing belt came apart.... the $700 dollar timing belt that should have been replaced turned into a $3900 engine replacement. May it Rest In Peace ☹️ if your not sure if your car has a timing belt or a chain please call or message me. And to the Volvo R.I.P.
