The time has come for me to semi-retire. I am selling my 2016 Get In Your Belly Deli food trailer along with a 2014 Ford F-150 STS 4WD pickup truck. Asking price of $35,500. Reduced from $42,500. Thank you to Abby Abel and Jay Jacobi for volunteering today to help Get In Your Belly Deli feed those less fortunate. We crushed it and it was brutally cold so extra thank you!

A very special shout out to Pam Lumley Vissing @ Remax Ability Plus for allowing me to use her kitchen so Abby and Jay would have a warm place to assemble the meals.

I am blessed to have great people willing to step up and help each month.

In 2023 we served over 3000 meals to those less fortunate as part of the weekly Hip Hop Cares Weekly Outreach weekly serve. Other restaurants and dozens of volunteers do this each and ever Sunday. The weather (hot, cold, wet) never deters the huge hearts that show up each Sunday help with the serve. To those who donate additional food, drinks, clothing, tents, etc your kindness is greatly appreciated!!

It's been a long day but I need to thank a great group of volunteers Kim Kimberly Rambo , Ann Brown and the Jacobi's. We put together 260 meals for those less fortunate this morning. We prepared ham/cheese sandwiches, an assortment of potato salad, pasta salad and baked beans along with chips and cookies. I have the best people helping me each month!!

This morning, with the help of the best volunteers (Kim, Abby and the Jacobi's) we fought through some very nasty weather to feed 220 less fortunate. A chicken salad sandwich, baked beans, chips and cookies. We hope they enjoyed the meal and stayed dry and warm today. I am blessed to have some wonderful people to help with this effort each month. Sometimes twice in a month.

Thank you to the best volunteer team anywhere! Abby, Kim, Erik and Theresa we fed 220 less fortunate lunch earlier today. I could not ask for a better group who give up their time to help serve. Next Sunday we will kick it up a notch and provide lunch for 220 at 1st and Broadway. It is a pleasure to help Hip Hop Cares and the dozens of other volunteers that show up EVERY Sunday to do great things!

Get In Your Belly Deli will be serving at the UL vs Boston College game on 10/23. If you are going to the game or just wanting to come by to grab a bite to eat, please do; Much cheaper and better than stadium food!! Cannot wait to see you there. I believe I will be open from 12:00 - 3:30pm. It is Homecoming!!

Thank you to Republic National Distributors for having me out the last two Thursdays to serve their outstanding employees. What a great company! I have met so many nice people. I am grateful that they keep having me back. Looking forward to the next time. Lots of Italians, Reubens and Fried Bologna were consumed!

Shout out to Chef Supply on Main Street in downtown Louisville. Recently bought a new sandwich cooler/prep table. They could not have been more professional and extremely knowledgeable.

They actually have a service department on-site and I saw it in action.

The workers were very responsive and very skilled. We talked through my issues with a unit I purchased back in January 2021. Yes, 8 months ago and got me into a much better product within a couple of hours. Very critical for a busy, busy food truck that has to keep product fresh. It and they exceeded my expectations.

If you own a food truck or restaurant this IS THE PLACE to go to. I HIGHLY recommend over others in town.
