Just an update on Mathew Howard. He currently has a charge of theft of services over $1000.00, class D felony.
I've been screwed before, but this is the first time that the thief has actually been charged with theft.
Theft, is NOT a civil matter. His next Court date is 10/09/2026. I'll keep ya'll updated.

This is the chevy sonic I've been working on.
1. Blower motor inoperative. Blowrr fuse blown, and blowerr relay was bad. =Body control module faulty.
Bypassed with aftermarket relay.
2. AC Inoperative, customer has been adding refrigerant. Flushed the system, replaced the compressor, txv, and condenser.
3. No AC Clutch engagement, but AC Button lights up solid.
4. No power to clutch, and no ability to see clutch data pid.
5. Tested circuit by supplying power, but had no power making it to the clutch.
ground at connector was good, and continuity through the wire was good.
adding power directly at the connector, engages clutch. result, inspection of TIPM, revealing bad relay.
Sent TIPM for repair, and was told the old TIPM was not repairable. Installed new TIPM, and re tested power circuit to clutch. Power is now availible through terminal 87, to the clutch, but ecm is not engaging the ac.
6. returned with new scan tool, and read BCM code, revealing no-com. Result- body control module bad.
ordering new, installing and flashing..

Always something. Used a shortcut and created a problem that I wouldn't have had, had I pulled the motor mount.

oh well.
