Sunday morning cleaning in my wood shop and junk room. If you’ve ever bought a giant wooden shifter or a 5’ tall head gasket from me, this is where I make them.

Spot anything cool hidden away?

Have a great Sunday Y’all!

We’ve had our old bare metal, hard chopped Model A for a long time now. I can’t really remember when we built it, but I’m guessing it’s been 15 years or so. Time goes by fast.

It’s one of my favorite things we’ve built. I remember each piece and the thought that went into it.

Enjoy the process and get out and build something.

Louisville 4x4 was almost directly across Dixie Hwy from my great uncle’s mechanic shop.

If you had a lifted truck in the 70’s, 80’s, and 90’s this is where your went. They mounted the slicks for our dragster. The place was just cool.

I’ve only printed these shirts a couple of times. I’m printing more next week. If you’re a in the slammed truck scene, I’ll print them upside down for you. Hit the website at https://rodshopcollective.com/products/get-it-up-louisville-4x4-t-shirt to get yours.

I print these myself, by hand. I appreciate you guys and gals.

Y’all take a minute to check out my friend and young gun here in Louisville Cameron Cottner.

This young man is just 21 years old and is as hardcore as they come. He’s the real deal and a great friend.

Check out his page and give him a follow.

Thanks y’all!

I’ve had Happy the Oil Drop Man on my to-do list for years. I finally got around to making a few over the weekend. He is about 6 1/2” tall and cut from 1/4” Maple veneer plywood.

If you’d like to get one while I’m set-up to make them just comment below. He’s $20 shipped to your door.

He ships flat and just slides together (or put a drop of glue in his joints).

Send me pictures of where you put yours. I’d love to see them.

A little over 4 years ago I printed the first Shiny Paint Causes Stress shirt. I posted it on here and sold 50 that night.

It would be so cool to make that happen again.

I still print them in my garage. Print them on the same press with the same screen.

Message me to get yours.

Does anyone on here race valve cover cars?

We’re building a track so that we can race at my restaurant (The Real B.A. Colonial) on Tuesdays. I’m pretty excited.

My Dad built me a car 35 years ago or so and we raced a few times. I’m excited to see it coming back!

Check out the The National Valve Cover Racing Association to see more. That’s where I got this picture, but can’t figure out how to tag the owner.

Back in 2017 we were getting close on the second of three ‘32 roadsters that we built. We were thrashing hard and got it done the day before we took it to the Street Rod Nationals.

Our buddy Bob helped us with a lot of the parts and a ton of wisdom. Thanks Bob. These were fun.

FREE DECIMAL EQUIVALENT CHART!

You need one! Comment CHART below and I’ll DM you the link to download the full-resolution file — FREE.

My dad is a machinist, and for as long as I can remember, a decimal equivalent chart like this has hung in his garage.

It’s one of those old-school shop tools that’s just damn handy to have around.

So we made our own Rod Shop Collective Machine Shop Reference Chart with an old-school design that actually looks good hanging above the toolbox.

Save it. Print it. Hang it in the garage. Keep it handy on your phone.

COMMENT “CHART” AND I’LL SEND IT TO YOU FREE.
