Description
• Must be able to execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air-conditioning, etc.
• Explain mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in a non-technical manner to service advisors and customers, providing an estimate of the time needed for additional repairs.
• Perform work specified on maintenance and repair orders with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards
• Learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions to keep up with rapidly changing technology
• Test-drive vehicles before and after repairs, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Effectively communicate findings and recommendations using electronic technology to customers and advisors
• Input all vehicle recommendations in electronic MPI
Requirements
• Automotive Technician experience
• Excellent Team player who enjoys working in a fast paced environment
• Must have the ability to learn new technology repair and service procedures and specifications
• Valid driver's license with good driving record
• Must be able to work in the US without sponsorship and be a current resident
• Must pass background checks, MVR and drug screen
• High School Diploma or GED
