Congratulations to this week’s Friday Fill-Up winner, Deb Rumery!

The correct answer was 100 horsepower — the output of the smallest available engine option in a 1990 Ford Ranger. Not exactly neck-snapping speed, but hey… those little Rangers just refused to quit.

Thanks to everyone who played along this week. Another Friday Fill-Up trivia question and another chance at a free gas card is coming soon, so keep an eye on the page.

Rest. Relaxation. Recovery. In S2E2.2 of Explorin’ Ashland, Kaylee and Jarred are back at The Ritual Well, this time checking out the sauna services and a little salt therapy to help clear out those clogged sinuses.

Because sometimes taking care of yourself means slowing down, sweating it out, breathing a little easier, and letting your body reset.

Check out the latest episode and see why The Ritual Well's saunas are such a cool addition to Ashland’s wellness scene.

Explorin' Ashland is brought to you by Explore Ashland Ohio, Bill Harris Chevrolet, Bill Harris Chrysler Dodge Jeep and Ram, and Bill Harris Ford.

This Memorial Day, we remember and honor the men and women who gave everything in service to our country. Their sacrifice is the reason we gather, celebrate, and live freely today.

This morning, Scott & Lili Harris and Bill Harris Chevrolet GSM David Harris all took part in the Murph Challenge — a grueling workout completed by thousands across the country each Memorial Day in honor of Lt. Michael P. Murphy, a Navy SEAL who was killed in Afghanistan in 2005 and posthumously awarded the Medal of Honor.

The workout consists of:
• 1-mile run
• 100 pull-ups
• 200 push-ups
• 300 air squats
• Another 1-mile run

Many participants even complete it while wearing a weighted vest to symbolize the weight carried by those who serve.

We’re proud of David and his family for taking part in something that’s about far more than fitness. Today is about remembrance, gratitude, sacrifice, and honoring those who never made it home. 🇺🇸

Tomorrow, we pause for Memorial Day.

It is a day set aside to remember the men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice is the reason we are able to gather with family, enjoy the freedoms we sometimes take for granted, and live in a nation built on courage, duty, and service.

All Bill Harris Dealerships locations will be closed on Memorial Day so our team can spend time with their loved ones and reflect on the meaning of the day.

We will return to our regular hours on Tuesday.

From all of us at Bill Harris Dealerships, we wish you a safe and meaningful Memorial Day. May we never forget those who gave everything.

The Loudonville Legend is getting ready to ride off into the sunset. After a nearly 40-year career, Kevin Hans will be retiring at the end of June.

We’ll have a lot more to share over the next few weeks, but we wanted to get the news out now so everyone has plenty of time to stop in, shake his hand, give him a hard time, tell a story, or just come see the man himself before he hangs it up.

Kevin has meant a lot to Bill Harris Dealerships, to Loudonville, and to a whole lot of guests and coworkers over the years. When you’ve been around as long as Kevin has, you don’t just sell vehicles. You build trust, friendships, memories, and a reputation that follows you.

So here’s your official heads up: come see Kevin before the end of June. The legend isn’t gone yet, but the sunset is getting closer.

It’s time for this week’s Friday Fill-Up Trivia! This week, we’re throwing it back to 1990 — the same year Kevin Hans got his start in the automotive industry.

In 1990, the Ford Ranger had three engine options from the factory. What was the horsepower of the smallest engine you could get in a 1990 Ford Ranger?

Drop your answer in the comments, like and share this post publicly, and you’ll be entered for a chance to win a $50 gas card.

Josh may have said we’d draw the winner on Monday, but plot twist: we’re all out of the office for Memorial Day. So we’ll pull the winner on Tuesday instead.

Have a great and safe Memorial Day weekend, friends!

Thinking about becoming an automotive technician? Come see what the job actually looks like.

Knox County Career Center student Jesse spent some time in the shop shadowing his uncle and Senior Master Tech Joey Bell, getting a closer look at life as a technician here at Bill Harris Dealerships.

There are a lot of different ways to build a career in this field, and vocational programs like KCCC are a great place to start. From there, it’s about learning, asking questions, getting hands-on, and finding the path that makes the most sense for you.

If you’re a student who’s interested in becoming a tech, we’d be happy to talk with you. Come shadow one of our technicians for a day, see the shop, learn about the career, and get a real look at the opportunities available in automotive service.

Get ahold of us anytime. The next great technician has to start somewhere.
