It’s been years since we have had the big fighting bluefish! BUT—some have returned this year!! Good Spanish Mackerel fishing continues also. I’ve got some weekend dates, as well as, weekdays still available for charter.

Another great week of fishing! We capped it off with a classroom trip with Longwood University. More good fishing still ahead. Don’t forget the next Open Boat Day for walk-ons with reservations on September 13.

Spanish Mackerel,Bluefish, Crab Cakes. We are making great catches of these fish for our groups right now. Could not ask for any better fishing. Also enjoyed having a group from Coan Baptist Church on an evening dinner cruise to the Ruddy Duck Restaurant on St. George Island & had some good crab cakes. I have some spaces still available for the Open Boat Day next Friday, August 9th. Let’s go fishing!

Saw Teeth and Salt. The Spanish Mackerel have definitely arrived here in the middle bay. Good numbers of Bluefish are also available here. Had a wonderful night trip to one of the dockside restaurants to celebrate ones birthday. Still have days available for charter

Cooler weather but still hot fishing. We have been working through the heat but still are finding good catches of fish. Thanks also Friends of the Rappahannock for including the Bay Quest as a partner this summer in Eco-Tourism trips. I enjoy having everyone on board for the tours and fishing. Thank you.

We are currently catching plenty of Bluefish ,Spanish Mackerel,Spot, some Croakers. Also, we have done an Eco-tourism trip and evening cruise. Give us a call to schedule your adventure on the BayQuest.

New Wave of Bluefish are here! Spanish Mackerel are coming along with them. We had a nice side trip to Smith Island for lunch after catching some fish. I also turned my fish barrel into the Bay Quest water attraction on a humid summer day. Open Boat Day still has some slots available on July 19 & days available for regular charters. Let’s go fishing!
