Why does ServiceUp exist?

In early 2020, Brett Dashe, Co-Founder of ServiceUp and car enthusiast, was fed-up with the dishonesty in the auto industry.

“Let’s face it… car repair, whether you’re a consumer or a business with a fleet, has been a real pain in the ass,” says Brett. “The lack of trust and transparency across the industry is outrageous.

Negative publicity from predatory shops and dealerships make life painful for the great and honest shops that deserve your business. That mistrust makes it difficult finding a shop that’ll provide high quality repairs, fast turnaround times, honest pricing, and great customer service.

The industry is stuck in the 90’s. Why can’t we make car repair as easy as buying a car on Carvana, renting on Kyte or Getaround, or catching a ride in a Lyft? Why can’t we do that for businesses with fleets as well? The industry needs an overhaul… and we’re on mission to completely revolutionize auto repair here at ServiceUp.
