The Barrett Commission is based on a Maeving RM1S, and it’s electric. We teamed up with brand partners and to create a bobber inspired custom on a new platform, incorporating momentary switches, bar end turn signals and oversized wheels and tires. As usual we had to breathe on every part of the bike to make it all work and achieve the natural look.

The Prouty Commission is a Bobber build based on a 1995 BMW R100 RS and finished in Ferrari’s Argento Nurburgring. The engine has been bored out to 1070cc, has a sports cam and large valve cylinder heads.

Last week we loaded up the bikes and drove out to the desert to make a little motorcycle movie. It was a great time, a great production and not without incident.

Andrew and I met a decade ago after I built him a bike. Now the top of his game and me the top of mine, we’re here together capturing a glimmer of something to what it’s all about.
