The 1988 Lotus Esprit Turbo. Peak old-school Lotus. 🏁

By 1988, the Esprit had been around for more than a decade, but it still looked like it had arrived from the future.

Giugiaro’s original wedge had been softened up by Peter Steven’s, while the mid-mounted 2.2-liter turbo four kept the important part intact: light weight, boost, and a chassis that made the Esprit far more than just a pretty shape.

Car Tales: Revolution, Porsche 996 Carrera 4S Coupe 6-Speed 🏁

The Porsche 996 is the fifth generation of the 911 model sports car manufactured by Porsche, from 1997 until 2006.

The 996 had little in common with its predecessor, with the first all new chassis platform since the original 911 and a new water-cooled engine.

In 2002, Porsche introduced the Carrera 4S model to its 996 range. The C4S, as it is called among enthusiasts, shares the wide-body look of the 996 Turbo as well as the brakes and suspension.

We have a splendid example of this Porsche revolution, a 2002 Porsche 996 Carrera 4S Coupe 6-Speed finished in its factory Seal Gray Metallic exterior over a grey interior.
