The 86 Porsche 911 I build for came to my shop for the first 1000 miles service.
When I was asked by judges what was the story behind this Cab., I told them that I build it to be driven and enjoyed! And that’s exactly what’s happening with it.
The car has already over 1400 miles since mid August and that includes 3 month displayed at the showroom.
I inspected whole car and I’m very pleased with the results. Every car component works they way how it was designed. The improvements I made hold up as well and made the car even better. The engine, the transmission broke in well; they are dry like bones, no oil leaks and runs better and better. The undercarriage still looks like new.
The owner loves every spec of it. He is enjoying driving it and it makes me happy it didn’t become garage queen like the many custom builds we see .
I enjoy it as well. It drives like a dream.

This 88 Porsche 911 Targa was coming to the shop for annual service. He didn’t make it and had to be towed to me. After quick investigation I found the reason why the engine wouldn’t run. The problem was with engine computer (DME) The Injector drive burned inside DME. I fixed it but I already knew I had to find the reason why this happened. The Bosch motronic DMEs are very strong units and rearly go bad unless there is any kind of voltage issues. The culprit was in the alternator. There are many reasons why alternators need to be replaced. In this case it was overcharging. The high voltage killed the components in DME, radio, and few relays. I fixed all of that. When I was in the alternator I decided to surprise the customer and I detail the engine fan. His reaction was priceless.
This is something that can be prevented if you look for signs your cars gives you. For example, you can easily spot overcharging just by how your headlights will become bright at night over sudden.

Well this is the last Porsche at my old shop. And it was one of the best ones over the last decade! This super low 6200-miles Porsche 993 Turbo looks like it left factory yesterday. I went trough it and made it even better. The car drives like a dream and I hope someone will finally enjoy it the way this beast was meant to be enjoyed!

97 Porsche 993 turbo. It was here for major service, suspension work, corner balance and 4 wheel alignment etc. I went through it entirely and sorted out few small issues to make it perfect again. It was fun working on this one. It drives like a dream.

This 10k miles 91 Porsche 964 Turbo was here for one thing only.. To leave my shop as perfect as when it left the factory. I went through it entirely. Fixed all the issue from engine to the seats. It drives like a dream! I hope it will be enjoyed now and not end up as the garage queen.
