Another one back to life 🦾

This Whipple supercharged Steve McQueen Edition Mustang GT came in with multiple trouble codes, misfires, and electrical issues. We started with a diagnosis, addressing each problem step by step.

Early on, we noticed an abnormal engine sound, so we performed a compression test and confirmed low compression across multiple cylinders. From there, we replaced the long block with a brand new Gen 3 crate engine.

Once the new engine was installed, we moved on to resolving all remaining trouble codes and electrical concerns. As part of the process, the Whipple supercharger was also sent out for a full rebuild giving this Steve McQueen Mustang a true fresh start.

Another build for the books. 🐺🔥

This Gen 2 Coyote paired with a 6R80 came in for an ESS G2 Supercharger Kit, along with all the proper supporting mods to handle the added power.

The car previously ran a Cobra Jet Intake Manifold, which we replaced with a ported Gen 3 Coyote Intake Manifold to better complement the boosted setup.

Fueling was upgraded with a Level 1 Fore Innovations Fuel System paired with FIC 1200cc Injectors to ensure consistent delivery under boost on E85.

For reliability, we installed an OPG combo with all new timing components and upgrades, added a Derale Transmission Cooler, serviced the 6R80, and completed additional maintenance items to keep everything operating at its best.
