If you have a dirt bike, or other two-stroke engine model, and the engine seizes up for no apparent reason, it could be due to running it at a constant speed, rather than varying it. If it happens on a regular basis, piston breakdown can result.

If your bike has been sitting for a long time (like over the winter) and the clutch was engaged, the chances are good that the clutch plates have stuck together, preventing the clutch from engaging.

Older two-stroke bikes come with their own sets of issues. If the crank seals have dried out, they will crack or they will not seal against the crankshaft. Both conditions allow air to enter the fuel creating a mixture that is too lean.
