We been looking at the weather and it’s been raining yesterday, today and calling for more Saturday. We don’t want to get you guys here and not be able to race. Our weather apps are 55 to 79% Saturday for our area. We will try this race again the following Saturday, June 6th.

God gets all the glory for this! It’s probably been a month or more with no rain and the locals can tell you that this track will get a little dusty on any given Saturday night. But God!!!!!! He gave Daddy strength and wisdom to prepare a track for all of us that held together for a lot of karts and we praise 🙌🏼 His Holy Name!

Thank you to each and every single person who came, watched from home, participated, worked or offered a hand! You all are so special! You didn’t have to, BUT YOU DID! ❤️

You guys brought this old backyard track to life this past weekend and shined a spotlight on it and we are very humbled and our hearts are grateful! 🙏🏼

To the ENTIRE 🧡MAXXIS 🖤CREW Maxxis Kart Racing North America You guys are the best, no comparison! Top Tier and if only people could see the backside and how y’all work so diligently to make it all come together! It takes a village and y’all got a good one! Thank you for allowing us to be a part of this special event! Running races can be tough at times, but you made it look so easy!

To Daddy’s Other girls Wendy, Katelyn and Bridget thank y’all! You make the world go round on Saturday nights and you worked your butts off feeding us all and My Dale who worked behind the scenes for weeks too! Just got the official word the Maxxis Crew is Locked and Loaded and headed to Loris, SC to start setting up for this weekends MaxxDaddy! We are so excited!

Take the time to read! Absolutely no parking until the posted times!!! You will not be allowed to park until the Maxxis Crew arrives and is ready to open the gates. They will close gates at the posed times so do not be late and you cannot park in the highway or side of the highway!

Here’s what you need to know before heading to this weekends MaxxDaddy!

• Gates open at 2:00 PM Friday — please do not arrive early, as staff will not be on-site or ready to park until that time.

• Gates close promptly at 9:00 PM Friday — no exceptions, please plan travel accordingly.

• Tech opens at 3:00 PM — take advantage of this to avoid missing Saturday practice.

• Tire distribution begins at 7:30 AM Saturday for drivers who have already paid. If you have not paid for entry and tires, please do not get in line.

• Super Heavy drivers will weigh in before Saturday morning practice.

• Rookie & Semi-Pro drivers: bring your own HT3 tires.

• All other drivers: bring your own HT3 4.50.

• Radio station: 88.7 FM.

• Fuel stop: Speedway — 5370 Broad St, Loris, SC.

• If the track is ready, practice will begin at 11:00 AM.

In honor of the late James Moore of Myrtle Beach, SC, we are proud to present a one-time-only Big Kahuna Tribute Trophy.

The Big Kahuna originated from James Moore’s “Moore Money Karting Series”, where it became a legendary traveling prize throughout the Southeast and Midwest. In 2010, the tradition evolved into what is now known as The Maxx Daddy.
For 2026, we bring it back—one last time—to honor the man who started it all.

This one-of-a-kind trophy will be contested by only 20 elite adult drivers:

* Top 10 points accumulation from Prelude and Maxx Daddy
* Top 10 points accumulation from Prelude and Super Heavy Maxx Daddy

There is no entry fee to compete.

A guaranteed $2,000 purse will be paid back through 10th place.

This is more than a race.
It’s a tribute.
It’s a legacy.
It’s the return of The Big Kahuna one last time.
