Last evening at approximately 11:55pm, while on patrol, Officer Greer noticed a vehicle pull into a residential driveway and turn its lights off. Knowing the area and being familiar with this residence, Officer Greer found this to be odd. Moments later, he saw illuminations from flashlights around the rear of the residence.

While watching this behavior, Officer Greer decided to wait until the vehicle left the residence. Once the vehicle was mobile, Officer Greer obtained reasonable suspicion and conducted a traffic stop.

Upon further investigation, Officer Greer determined the two occupants, non-residents of Lorena, had actually just burglarized the residence. Additionally, methamphetamine was located inside the vehicle.

The following arrests were made:

38-year-old female arrested for Burglary of a Habitation and Possession of Methamphetamine

47-year-old male arrested for Burglary of a Habitation and Possession of Methamphetamine

Both individuals were arrested and transported to the McLennan County Jail. The property was recovered and will be returned to the owner(s).
