Update on access to the shop.
This is the entry they made for this week. It cuts across the corner of the yard to the main driveway. It’s roadbase but fairly well packed down. They’re running the mini excavator back & forth over it. But I would be cautious if you’re coming in on a bike!

Here’s the situation at the shop today….. the road crews are graciously going to pour a concrete entrance to our drive...

Here’s the situation at the shop today….. the road crews are graciously going to pour a concrete entrance to our drive!
But as of 9a Tuesday you can not get in to the shop. They are going to create an alternative entrance…. Later this morning I think. They tell me the new drive should be done by Thursday!

As you know and have seen it’s gonna be hot hot , probably for the remainder of August. With that in mind I have altered my schedule a little bit. I’m getting in the shop by 830-9 in the mornings then shutting down by 4. Of course I’m still close by if you need a late afternoon pick up or drop off. I do have a window AC in the shop, so if the door is down just knock cuz I’m trying yo keep the cool in!

Who doesn’t love a Heritage Softail?! A really nice example for sale here. 2006 FLST Heritage Softail. 88ci engine 5 speed. Just under 8 thousand miles! Runs great, not beat up but will need tires Local seller asking $6000
Note: the FLST did not have bags or windshield as standard equipment, but those are easily added!

I’m trying to clean up the shop and have some used parts I thought I would offer up…

Harley/Harmon-Kardon radio with CD player & CB Module.
These were factory radios from 2006-2013. Working when removed - owner upgraded to a Soundstream unit. Most of these on Ebay are about $100 - make an offer!
I also have the XM receiver module for the same era HK radios. Make an offer!

A set of Hogtunes rear speakers
462R-RM. These are the Gen 4 version for 2014 & up Ultra Classic. 6.5”. 2ohm. $50

An Arlen Ness Big Sucker air filter 18-505. Fits 99-17 TwinCam. Has all the hardware

Well, well… here’s the view at the end of my drive. They are digging up the road from our drive thru the intersection with old Lorena rd. As of this evening there is a giant trench in front of the shop. Not sure if it will be accessible tomorrow or the next couple of days. You can get by if you’re on Spring Valley, you just can’t turn in very easily.
Feel free to check with me before you ride a motorcycle over to get the latest accessibility report!!

I have a set of really nice Bassani slip on mufflers that will fit the Softail Heritage, probably 2013-17 (103 engine) These are Bassani Firepower - great sound to them. I would call them fairly aggressive but not obnoxious. Great shape… were on my bike for about a year but not alot of miles on them.
They’re $400+ nowadays…

Here’s some scheduling notes for the next few days….
I’m set for a colonoscopy tomorrow (Fri), so I’ll be closed a good part of the day Friday.
May be able to get out there in the afternoon. Saturday will be a normal 10-3.
Then next Tuesday 5/12 Brenda is going in for her colonoscopy!
So I’ll be out part of the day to assist her.
Ain’t getting older fun!!
