Starting this build for a customer who wants a high torque engine for towing. His truck is painted Chevrolet Atomic Orange. This 496 is sprayed with base clear and is not only going to be gorgeous, but also a killer big block.

This little 439 cubic inch stock appearing hydraulic roller big block made 578 HP and 546 pounds of torque on factory iron heads! (May have been massaged a little!) Congrats to Cale Morse. It also had over 500 foot pounds of torque from 3000 to 6000 RPM. Cale's gonna need to invest in tires!
