Tiny House Standard Trailer
These bumper pull trailers are by far the most common and allows you to
construct a design that resembles the look of a typical house. The deck height is very low, typically 26 to 27 inches tall which enables you to construct a taller loft space providing more head room. Keep in mind that a Tiny House On Wheels
(THOW) can not exceed the height of 13', 6 inches.

Tiny House Deckover Trailers
Are the least expensive and are now becoming the most appealing of Tiny House trailers and can be built to have either bumper pull or gooseneck capabilities What's not the same in a deckover design is that the deck is over the wheels. This aspect now provides you freedom to design your floor plan without the encumbrances of the trailer fenders. The deckover trailer makes designing kitchens, bathrooms and living areas much easier and is great for those desiring a ground floor bedroom. Keep in mind with the deckover trailer the deck is now higher and if you are planning a sleeping loft you will lose headroom because the loft height will now be lowered due to the increased height of the trailer.

Tiny House Gooseneck Trailers
Not as common a trailer in the Tiny House world and ranges 15 to 25% more in cost and will provide less space to the interior of your home less than a bumper pull. If you are considering the possibility of frequently moving your Tiny House, this design may prove to be a more viable option for you, due to the goosenecks on the road performance. They provide improved stability as well as a smooth ride. The gooseneck design built Tiny House will have a little less traditional exterior look than a bumper pull trailer but can still be designed without any lack of beauty and charm.
