🐰 Holiday Notice from Screaming Eagle Diesel 🐰

We’ll be closed Friday, April 3rd for Good Friday—because even diesel techs need a break… and the Easter Bunny still hasn’t figured out how to turn a wrench 🐣🔧

Don’t worry, we’ll be back Monday, April 6th—fully fueled, slightly sugared up, and ready to keep your trucks on the road.

Until then, try not to break anything… but if you do, we’ll see you Monday 😉

Have a safe and Happy Easter weekend!

— Your crew at Screaming Eagle Diesel 🦅

Mike got called out for an oil leak and a check engine light… turns out the engine was basically on an oil diet—about 2 gallons short. The light? Just low oil pressure politely panicking. 😨

🧐 After some detective work, he found oil sneaking out the back of the engine. Popped a plug to investigate further and surprise—the missing oil wasn’t missing at all. It was just hanging out inside the rear of the engine thanks to a completely blown rear main seal.

Diagnosis: rear main seal said “I quit.” 🛑
Solution: tow it to the shop for a full engine reseal (and maybe a stern talk with that seal).

On this day in 1836, brave Texans gathered at Washington-on-the-Brazos to declare Texas’ independence from Mexico. On March 2, they signed the Texas Declaration of Independence, officially forming the Republic of Texas during the Texas Revolution.

Today, we celebrate the courage, determination, and independent spirit that still defines the Lone Star State. ⭐

Here’s to Texas history, Texas pride, and Blue Bell Ice Cream!

Well… sometimes we have to be our own heroes. 🦅

Yes — that’s our service truck.
Yes — that’s our tire.
And yes — we fixed it ourselves. 😂

Even the rescue truck needs rescuing every now and then. The good news? We don’t panic… we grab the tools and get it handled.

Because at Screaming Eagle Diesel, whether it’s YOUR truck or OURS, we don’t sit around waiting for help — we ARE the help.

Back on the road and ready to roll. 💪🚛

Tonight our team at Screaming Eagle Diesel had the opportunity to get a propane truck back on the road — and that repair means more than just fixing a vehicle. It means helping our customer continue delivering fuel so their customers can stay warm during this winter storm.

We’re proud to support the crews working long hours in harsh conditions to keep heat flowing to homes and businesses. When our customers are taking care of the community, we’re here to take care of them.

Stay safe, stay warm, and know we’re here when it matters most. 🦅🔥

🚨 WINTER STORM WATCH – EAST TEXAS ❄️🚨

A Winter Storm Watch has been issued for most of East Texas from Friday morning through Sunday morning. Heavy mixed winter precipitation is expected, with the potential for ice accumulation, power outages, tree damage, and extremely dangerous travel conditions. Roads could remain hazardous into Monday due to refreezing.

If you rely on a diesel vehicle, now is the time to prepare. Here are a few important steps to help protect your truck and keep you moving safely:

✅ Check batteries – cold weather kills weak batteries fast
✅ Use winter-blend diesel fuel & add anti-gel treatment
✅ Inspect glow plugs & block heaters
✅ Top off coolant and make sure it’s properly mixed
✅ Keep tanks at least half full to prevent condensation
✅ Inspect tires and carry emergency supplies

⚠️ Weather sources are saying that travel may be limited to near impossible in some areas. If you don’t have to be on the roads, it’s best to stay home and stay safe.

If you need your diesel vehicle checked or prepped before the storm hits, give us a call before conditions worsen.

Stay warm. Stay safe. And protect your equipment.. And if you can’t, WE CAN HELP! 🦅❄️
