The London Community Organization is proud to announce the thirteenth annual London Rhythm & Rib Fest will once again be a two day event for 2021, Friday and Saturday, August 6th & 7th. A fun, family-friendly event, the venue offers attendees music acts of all genres, ice-cold beer and finger-licking ribs. The Rhythm & Rib Fest highlights London’s desire to promote its visitor-friendliness. We are

extremely excited about this year’s festival and all that we have planned! Originating in 2008 as a revitalization of London’s First Friday schedule, more than 5,000 attended with approximately 1,700 pounds of delicious ribs devoured. Returning in August of 2009, the attendance swelled to more than 7,000 attendees and the beer garden tripled in sales. The event sold over ten kegs of beer and every rib vendor selling out of ribs in 2010. Then in 2011, the event to over 8,000 rib and jazz enthusiasts visiting our beautiful downtown for the event. The last two years were the most successful with an excess of 10,000 people attending each year, over 2 tons of ribs and 500 pounds of pulled pork and brisket consumed in each of those years. With the success of the event in 2008 and 2009, we moved the venue to Main Street in Downtown London (S.R. 56) in 2010, from High Street to First Street. This was to accommodate the growing list of vendors and crowd of attendees. A children’s events area, classic car show, 5k Run and a Rib Tickler Bicycle Ride are just some of the events that take place at the Rhythm & Rib Fest. The change of venue and addition of these events made the festival even more enjoyable for the community. The London Rhythm & Rib Fest is produced by the London Community Organization.

Get ready, car enthusiasts and BBQ lovers! The London Barber Exchange is proud to host the London Rhythm & Ribs Festival Cruise-In on Saturday, August 8th in Downtown London, Ohio!

Event Highlights:
✅ FREE Cruise-In registration starting at 3:00 PM
✅ Cruise-In runs from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM
✅ Open to all year automobiles, and trucks
✅ First 100 vehicles receive a dash plaque!

We can’t wait to welcome our next band joining us for Rhythm and Rib Fest this weekend! Welcome the Blue Cats!

The Blue Cats are veteran blues/rock/jazz musicians that unite to bring you energy intensive, yet volume controlled original “blues-infused” arrangements of favorites from their musical hip pockets including straight blues, Traffic, Clapton, Dylan, Santana, Van Morrison, et al.

The Blue Cats will play on Saturday, August 8th at 4PM. See you there!

For the past 20 years, the London Rhythm & RibFest has had one goal: bring people to Downtown London.

We want visitors to enjoy amazing ribs, great music, family fun, and spend time shopping, dining, and visiting the businesses that make our downtown such a special place.

That's why we've intentionally designed our festival and beer area to work with London's Downtown DORA and our local businesses.

Here's how it works:
🍺 The festival's state liquor permit covers only the designated beer selling area.
🥤 If you purchase a drink from one of our downtown DORA establishments, you can bring it into the festival grounds in an approved DORA cup.
🚶 If you purchase a beverage at the festival and want to explore downtown, no problem! We'll be serving our drinks in approved DORA cups so you can stroll through downtown, visit local shops, and support our restaurants and businesses.
🏪 Our downtown DORA businesses will continue serving DORA beverages throughout the weekend during their normal business hours.

We truly believe everyone wins when our downtown is full of people enjoying everything London has to offer.

And let's be honest... festivals like this don't happen by selling lemonade! 😉 Beer sales help us provide FREE admission, FREE live entertainment, family activities, and one of London's favorite traditions. So while you're enjoying the festival, be sure to stop by the beer garden and support the event that helps make it all possible.

This weekend, grab some award-winning ribs, enjoy the music, shop local, visit your favorite downtown businesses, and raise a DORA-approved cup to another fantastic London Rhythm & RibFest.
