🔧 Can-Am Defender: ZBROZ HD PRO +2 Forward A-Arm Install 🔧

Ready to upgrade your Defender’s stance and strength? Here’s your step-by-step guide to installing the new ZBROZ HD PRO +2 Forward Camber Adjustable A-Arm Kit. Pop this in your saved posts for the garage! 👇

Step 1: Tear Down
-Park on a flat surface, jack up the front end, and pull the wheels.
-Use a 10mm to remove the brake line from the upper control arm.
-Use a 15mm wrench/socket to drop the lower shock mount and sway bar mount.

Step 2: Free the Hub
-Pull the lower ball joint bolt. Lift the hub assembly up and down until the joint pops free.
-Remove the upper ball joint cotter pin and 19mm nut.
-Lift the upper A-arm and tap the steering knuckle with a hammer to separate it.

Step 3: Pull the Stock Arms
-Remove the upper and lower 15mm frame bolts to free the stock arms.
-CRITICAL: Pull and save your OEM pivot sleeves and pivot tube brackets—you’ll need them for reassembly!

Step 4: Prep the ZBROZ Arms
-Press those OEM pivot sleeves and brackets directly into your new ZBROZ upper and lower pivot tubes.
-(Note: Pop your stock ball joints in now, or grab a fresh set from ZBROZ before moving on!)

Step 5: Frame & Hub Install
-Bolt the new lower A-arms into the frame using stock hardware. Torque to factory spec.
-Pop the lower ball joint back into the hub assembly and torque it down.
-Mount the new upper A-arm to the frame side and torque to spec.

Step 6: Reassembly
-Seat the upper ball joint into the knuckle; secure with the nut and a fresh cotter pin.
-Reattach the brake line to the new arm using the stock bolt and the provided new nut.
-Reinstall your lower shock mount and sway bar. Torque everything down!
-Repeat on the other side, grease all pivot points, throw the wheels back on, and drop the jack.

Step 7: Dial in the Camber
-Time to adjust! Performance preference varies, but we love 0 to -1 degrees of camber.
-Too much camber? Pull shim spacers out.
-Need more camber? Add shim spacers to the outside of the ball joint housing.
