The Exxon has been a big part of my life here in Livingston. It gave me a place to come into my own, meet a lot of good people, and really see what makes this town so great. I’ve made some lifelong friendships here, and that’s something I’m truly thankful for.
I'm especially thankful for my friendship with Paul Mack Galloway. I enjoyed learning the ropes from him and getting to know him. Paul Mack was really what made this place more than just a service station. He was the kind of man you could always count on, whether it was as a friend or a coworker. He was kind, hardworking, and always good for a laugh, a cup of coffee, and a good conversation. Things never quite felt the same around the station without him.
I’m sad to see the station close, but I’m very grateful for my time here and all the people I’ve gotten to know along the way. I’ll be moving over to Hendrix Machinery, and I genuinely hope I’ll still get to see and hear from many of y’all regularly. If there’s ever anything I can do to help with your heavy equipment rental needs, I’d be more than glad to.
Thanks to everybody who’s been a part of my time here. I’ve enjoyed every minute.
