The 2026 Battle of the Buckle is coming to TVQMA on July 18-19, 2026, and it’s shaping up to be one of the most exciting events of the season.

🔥 Battle of the Buckle Format
• Two heat races with passing points in both heats
• Heat 2 is a complete invert of Heat 1’s lineup
• Top 6 in passing points advance directly to the A Main
• Wheel of Misfortune determines the A Main invert (0, 2, 4, or 6)
• Pass cars. Earn points. Win the buckle.

🏁 NEW RACE FORMAT ALERT – BATTLE OF THE BUCKLE! 🏁

We’re shaking things up and bringing a whole new level of excitement to race day! 🔥

For this event, we’ll be using a NEW Battle of the Buckle Format, designed to reward passing, consistency, and racecrafts from green flag to checkered flag.

📋 How It Works:

🏎️ Two Heat Races

• Heat 1 lineup determined by pill draw

• Heat 2 is a complete invert of Heat 1

• Drivers earn passing points in BOTH heats

• Passing points from both heats are combined

🎡 Top 6 Advance to the A Main

• The top 6 drivers in passing points move directly into the A Main lineup

🎯 Wheel of Misfortune

• The highest point earner spins the wheel to determine the invert:

• 0 = No Invert

• 2 = Invert Top 2

• 4 = Invert Top 4

• 6 = Invert Top 6

🏆 A Main Lineup

• Top 6 set by the wheel result

• Remaining positions determined by lower mains (if needed)

This format puts the focus on passing cars, racing hard, and earning your spot up front! No coasting, no playing it safe—every position matters.
