Our primary market is based on the General Motors product line, but also includes Ford, Dodge, and Suburu WRX vehicles as well. Within the General Aviation sector (LSA), we provide complete MEFI based EFI computer systems with harness for the Chevrolet LS engines that are installed in aircraft. We are also expanding into the new Honda/Acura, Toyota/Lexus, and Nissan/Infinity vehicles, and expect to be reprogramming those vehicle computers by February 2014. We have more than 29 years of providing our customers with satisfaction and excellence in all that we do. We have successfully increased power levels on stock vehicles by 10-20%, and up to 1000 HP on highly modified Turbocharged cars. After putting up with idle stalling issues, as well as poor throttle response and low to mid-range torque on this 6.2L, equipped with an ATI ProCharger, the owner brought this Raptor to us to resolve these issues. We did and also corrected programming issues in the 6-sp auto trans to provide better shift points for upshifts and downshifts, as well as improved Torque Converter Clutch engagement and release. This Raptor really moves now!

Over the years, CPE has worked on numerous Jeep projects that were Fuel Injected and equipped with Small Block Chevy or Big Block Chevy powertrains. While these projects finished with great success, we have heard the requests from a great number of shops and individuals working on Jeeps AMC or Dodge powertrains as equipped in their vehicles.

We currently provide PCM/ECM programming support for a multitude of engine/transmission swap scenarios in the 2005 & up Jeeps.

We are committed to provide the needed and long overdue support for the earlier generations of EFI equipped Jeeps, specifically for the following years and PCM/ECM Type:

1987 - 1990 RENIX
1987 - 1990 SBEC - Super-D
1991 - 1995 SBEC
1996 - 1998 JTEC
1999 - 2004 JTEC+

In the weeks and months ahead we will be working on developing user friendly software for tuning these EFI controller systems for the benefit of all enthusiasts who wish/need to alter their EFI system for improved performance and/or economy, while coordinating those efforts with virtually any engine modification you can dream up (Upgrades, i.e.: Cam, Cylinder head work, Intake, Exhaust, Injector size, Bore, Stroke, Compression Ratio, etc.).

After a month of gathering detailed project specifications, CPE is excited to announce to the Light Sport Aviation (LSA) sector its new MEFI-5 type EFI control system for the all aluminum V8 Chevrolet LS1/LS6 5.7L and early LS2 6.0L engines using 24X Crank Triggering. We are working hard to develop systems for the late LS2, LS3 6.2L, LS7 7.0L, LS9 6.2L and LSA 6.2L aluminum V8 engines using current 58X Crank Triggering technology. The new 58X MEFI systems will be announced as they become available in the coming weeks.

These new systems feature the latest 32-bit Hi-Performance MEFI type controllers (weighing only 2 lbs) and will provide dual-redundant Electronic Throttle Control, vital protection against detonation through the implementation of sophisticated Knock Control strategies, optimized ignition timing and accurate Air/Fuel Ratios throughout the RPM and load range of the engine. Oxygen Sensors are typically used with unleaded fuel during early tuning adjustments and can be removed later for subsequent FBO fuel fills with Low-Lead aviation fuel.

CPE provided engineering assistance and computer guidance for ignition timing to get this Chevy LS1 V8 flying again.
