❄️ COLORADO WINTER IS COMING. IS YOUR RIDE READY? 🚗
Before the snow arrives, here are 5 things every driver should check:
1️⃣ Give your tires some attention.
Check tread, damage, and tire pressure when the tires are cold. Use the pressure listed on your driver’s door sticker. Consider winter tires for snowy conditions.
2️⃣ Test your battery.
Cold weather makes starting harder. Have your battery and charging system checked before a freezing morning leaves you stranded.
3️⃣ Make sure you can SEE.
Replace worn wipers, use winter-rated washer fluid, and check your lights and defrosters. Clear snow and ice before driving.
4️⃣ Check your coolant.
Make sure the level and antifreeze protection meet your vehicle manufacturer’s recommendations. Have a technician check it if you’re unsure.
5️⃣ Pack a winter emergency kit.
Keep a blanket, gloves, ice scraper, flashlight, phone charger, water, and snacks in your vehicle.
