There's a reason why I was extra worried about this startup- it was built by someone I don't know- but is a Ford expert. I had to disassemble the valvetrain because the l**e that had been applied was long gone. I put Driven l**e on the lifters and valveteain and reassembled- then preoiled- pre oil pressure was over 90- which leads me to believe a high volume oil pump was installed- and it ruptured the first oil filter. I put a Wix filter on and it held. At startup it was still 85-90 PSI- but valvetrain sounded ok after a few minutes- then I start getting oil out of the rear main seal- shaking my damned head at this point.@

Finally got this roller cam 351C done for Darryl. It's a beast- but fought me- had to resolve fuel and oil leaks-but nothing I couldn't resolve!
