To My Many Friends and Loyal Customers:
This is a very personal moment for me; however, I would like to share it with you. After nearly 20 years on Chenal Parkway and more than three decades of serving Little Rock's temporary transportation needs, TLC Daily Rental will close this month. My building will be demolished and a new retail business will begin construction.
Although I have sold my building and property, I have *not* sold my business, so that leaves me with several options. I am entertaining the possibility of selling the business (including the TLC Daily Rental name, the phone number and my book of business) or personally re-establishing the business at a different location at a later date. Regardless of what I do, I intend to take an extended period of time to enjoy my family, especially my grandkids, catch up on some personal endeavors and maybe do some fishing with my brother in Florida. Those who know me will know that actual retirement may be ... not quite yet!
That said, I want each of you to know how much I appreciate your friendship and the business we have done over these many years. My success has been the direct result of my association with each of you and for that I am truly grateful.
Closing a business is, in many ways, much more difficult than beginning that business. I will need to move and store my many personal items, sort and store business records, sell or donate much of the office furniture and fixtures and finally sell the fleet of rental vehicles (passenger vans, cargo vans, pickup trucks, a Yukon 4X4 and a late-model Ford 15-passenger mini-bus.
If you are interested in purchasing any of my fleet vehicles, go online to http://www.tlcdailyrentals.com/ and click on Inventory and you will see a selection of some of the vehicles. I will post more of the vehicles in the next week. If you would like to call me for any reason, the number is still 501-954-RENT. I look forward to hearing from you!
