Today, James turns 36. ❤️
And while birthdays are usually about celebrating another year of life, I feel like this one deserves a little more.
If you know James, especially through our business, you know his work ethic. He started this company with a vision and a willingness to work harder than anyone I’ve ever known. I came alongside him, and somewhere along the way, what started as his dream became our dream and together we’ve built something I’m incredibly proud of.
People see the shop, the cars, the reputation and the growth. What they don’t see are the 24–36 hour shifts, the nights without sleep, the missed meals and the sacrifices he’s made because when James gives someone his word, he means it.
This past year, I’ve watched the weight of it all catch up with him. Building something from nothing isn’t glamorous behind the scenes. Carrying a business, a team, clients, a family and a future is heavy. I’ve watched the strongest person I know struggle under that weight and still get up the next day and keep going.
James isn’t perfect. He’s stubborn, works himself into the ground and can drive me absolutely crazy. 😂
But men like him are rare.
Men who believe their word means something. Who keep going because people are counting on them. Who take pride in what they put their name on. Who want to provide, protect and build something meaningful.
Sometimes the people who carry the most hear the least about how much they’re appreciated.
I see the sacrifices, the pressure and the exhaustion. I see how deeply you care, and I’m incredibly proud of what you’ve built and the man behind it.
Through every high, every low and everything still ahead of us, I’m grateful I get to do this life with you.
