Time for a long winded 🌬️ post!!!!!
We don’t see storms ❄️🏂🎿❄️🥶like the one being forecasted often, so it’s time to prepare now! Here’s a quick checklist to help you get ready:
1. Fuel up your vehicles⛽️. Make sure you have a full tank in case you get stranded or need to make a longer trip.
2. Pack essentials in your car. Bring along a blanket, bottled water, and some snacks 🍿🥠to stay comfortable if you get caught in the snow or stuck somewhere.
3. Watch your ground clearance. Your car is about 6 inches off the ground. If we get 6 inches of snow, your car could easily turn into a sled 🛷 —and that sled won’t be moving on its own!
4. 4x4 🛻 truck owners—be cautious! Just because your truck can get through snow doesn’t mean it can stop when you need it to. And remember, the newer cars we have today aren’t built like those from the 1980s. Yanking on them with a 4x4 can cause a lot more damage than you think.
5. Leave the towing to the professionals. A friend may offer to pull you out, but if you’re stuck, it’s best to call in the pros. Your friend with the truck won’t be as invested in your car’s well-being as a licensed, insured towing company.
Stay safe out there, folks, and take the time to prepare before the storm 🌩️❄️🌨️ hits!
