Airbag systems will become compulsory for all riders competing in MXGP, MX2 and Womenβs World Championships, as well as the Motocross of Nations, from the 2028 season.
The use of a functional airbag system will be π‘π’π π‘π₯π² π«πππ¨π¦π¦ππ§πππ from 2027 before becoming mandatory one year later.
