Just completed and officially ready for sale—this absolutely gorgeous 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle SS396!

Finished in Tuxedo Black, this Chevelle is powered by a strong-running and awesome-sounding 396/402 C.I. big block backed by a crisp-shifting TH400 automatic transmission and a 12-bolt Positraction rear with 3.73 gears.

It also features a healthy cam, Holley 750 double-pumper, big-tube headers, Flowmaster dual exhaust, power steering, power front disc brakes, a beautiful black bucket-seat interior and new BFGoodrich tires on Magnum 500 alloy SS wheels.

We just finished cutting, buffing and polishing the paint before protecting it with a one-year ceramic coating—and the results speak for themselves!

We’re down here at GAA Classic Cars in Greensboro, North Carolina, with two awesome muscle cars ready to cross the auction block this weekend!

Friday evening, our freshly restored 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 will run. This is a real X77 Z/28, restored back to its original specifications and finished in its striking factory-correct Garnet Red with white stripes.

Then on Saturday, our extremely rare 1965 Pontiac GTO will take the stage. This P.H.S.-documented GTO was originally ordered in special-order Tiger Gold, a color associated with Pontiac’s famous “GeeTO Tiger” advertising campaign. It is believed to be one of only approximately 100 Tiger Gold GTOs produced in 1965.

Both cars are looking great and ready for their moment under the lights at GAA!

1961 Chrysler Imperial – Preservation Over Perfection

What you're looking at isn't a repaint.
It's 65 years of history hiding beneath decades of contamination.

The photo says it all.

➡️ Left side: Original paint covered in years of embedded contamination, environmental fallout, oxidation, and surface buildup.

➡️ Right side: The exact same original paint after a careful decontamination process designed to safely remove what doesn't belong there while preserving what does.

This 1955 Ford Thunderbird came into Detail Corner at Universal Muscle Cars needing serious paint correction. After a careful 2-step cut & polish, we were able to remove years of oxidation and bring back incredible depth and gloss while preserving the character of the paint.

Black paint this old doesn’t forgive mistakes… but when done right, the results speak for themselves. 👀
