2025 Kawasaki Vulcan 900 β€” dialed in on the dyno. πŸ”§πŸ“ˆ

Stock exhaust, high-flow air filter, and a Power Commander 6. No ECU flash support available for this one, so we went to work the old-fashioned way β€” fuel and ignition tuned from scratch, pull by pull.

We cleaned up the AFR across ΒΌ, Β½ and full throttle, then optimized ignition timing to bring out more torque where this V-Twin actually lives.

Baseline: 49.97 HP / 54.46 TQ
Final: 51.96 HP / 57.43 TQ
SAE corrected. Always.

It’s not always about chasing a huge peak HP number. A proper tune is about smooth power, stronger torque, clean fueling and better rideability throughout the entire throttle range.

No canned maps. No inflated STD charts. Tuned from scratch for the bike in front of us.

This GSX-R750 came in equipped with a full CS Racing exhaust + DNA high-flow air filter, and after getting it properly dialed in on the dyno, the results speak for themselves.

πŸ”΄ Before: 117.73 WHP / 49.64 ft-lbs
πŸ”΅ After: 125.90 WHP / 54.78 ft-lbs

That’s not just peak horsepower β€” we picked up power and torque throughout the entire rev range, with a much stronger midrange and top-end. Nearly +15WHP and +7ft-lbs, naturally aspirated.

We wanted to see exactly what this CBR650R would gain from bolt-ons and proper tuning β€” so we tested each setup back-to-back on the dyno.

Nearly +5 WHP at the wheel over the stock setup, with gains throughout the rev range β€” not just a peak number. πŸ’ͺ

The DNA filter really woke up the top end, allowing the 650 to keep pulling where the stock setup starts falling off. AFR and ECU mapping were dialed in on the dyno to make the combination work together.

This MT-10 came in rocking a Racefit 3/4 Titanium exhaust + Sprint air filter, and the factory restrictions were leaving a LOT on the table.

πŸ“ˆ After: 147.5 HP / 77 FT-LBS

That’s over +15 WHP peak, but the real story is up top β€” at ~11,500 RPM we picked up roughly +25 HP.

No parts changed. Same bike. Same dyno. Just proper ECU calibration and letting that CP4 breathe the way Yamaha should’ve from the factory.
