🔧 One Serious Upgrade Package 🔥

This 2013 Wrangler Sport came in for some major work, and we didn't hold back!

We installed Revolution Gear & Axle 5.13 gears front and rear, upgraded the steering with an RPM Steering 2.5-ton setup and PSC Big Bore XD hydraulic assist, and gave the brakes a complete PowerStop upgrade.

We also replaced the front hubs, rear wheel bearings and seals, added 2" wheel spacers, and got everything filled, tightened, and ready to go.

A whole lot of upgrades went into this Jeep, and it's ready to put them to work! 👨‍🔧

🇺🇸 Happy Labor Day Weekend!

🔧 One Heck of a Shop Visit 🔥

This 2018 JKU Rubicon spent some time with us getting the front end fixed and adding upgrades!

First, we got the front end back in shape with RPM 2.5-ton steering, Rough Country V2 steering stabilizer, all four ball joints, both front wheel hubs, differential seals, and an alignment.

Then we added a Rugged Ridge front bumper, Smittybilt winch, Oracle Lighting fog lights, and four 40x15.50x24 Venom Terra Hunter M/Ts.

Now she's ready for her next adventure! 👨‍🔧🛻

🛞Beadlock Rims 👀

We mounted Toyo Open Country M/Ts on beadlock wheels, balanced them, torqued all the beadlock hardware to spec, and got the whole setup mounted up on this 2015 JKU Sahara.

We also replaced the hood latches while it was here and took it for a test drive to make sure everything was ready to go. 👨‍🔧

⚙️ Did someone say regear? 🔥

At Lindale Custom Jeeps, we got you covered! We upgraded this Jeep to Revolution Gear & Axle 5.13 gears.

A regear isn't just swapping out a couple of gears and calling it done. This one also needed a new front carrier to accommodate the new gear ratio, along with both rear wheel bearings and seals.

Once everything was set up, we filled the differentials with fresh gear oil, programmed the Jeep for the new gear ratio and tire size, and made sure everything was running at the proper RPMs.

Another Jeep properly geared and ready to roll. 👨‍🔧

🔋 Battery Problems on Your JL? 👨‍🔧

Did you know your JL has two batteries? We’ve seen it more than once—a Jeep gets a new main battery but is still having voltage issues.

That little auxiliary battery is tucked away and can be easy to overlook. When it starts going bad, it can cause problems even when your main battery is perfectly fine.

⚙️ What Gears Do We Use? 🔥

We get asked this one pretty often, so let's talk gears!

Here at Lindale Custom Jeeps, we use Revolution Gear & Axle for our regear jobs.

When we're doing a regear, we're not just throwing in a set of ring and pinions. Revolution offers matched gear packages with the proper master install kit for the application.

Their gears are made from high-quality steel and precision heat treated to OEM specifications, and their ring and pinion sets are backed by a 2-year warranty against defects.

But just as important as the brand of gear is choosing the right gear ratio for your Jeep.

Tire size, engine, transmission, and how you use your Jeep all play a part in choosing the right ratio. A Jeep on 35s that's mostly driven on the highway may need something different than a Jeep on 37s that's regularly hitting the trails.

The goal is to get the gearing matched to your setup so you can get your power back, improve drivability, and make the most out of those bigger tires. 👨‍🔧🛻

That's why we don't just pick a ratio and throw it in. We'll look at your Jeep and your setup to help determine what makes the most sense for you.

This 2015 JKU Rubicon spent a little time in the shop getting a handful of upgrades.
