Tesla is facing slow Cybertruck sales as reports say over 10,000 units are sitting unsold across the U.S., valued at more than $800 million. Early hype has cooled as buyers raise concerns about build quality, reliability, and fast value drops. Trade-in offers show sharp depreciation, pushing Tesla to rethink pricing and rebuild customer trust.

NISSAN UNVEILS
2026 ROGUE PLUG-IN HYBRID

Nissan is rolling out its first plug-in hybrid in the U.S., aiming to capture some of the market demand for PHEVs amid growing dealer frustration over the automaker’s product lineup.

The details: The new Rogue hybrid, which will make its debut this week at the 2025 Los Angeles Auto Show, aims to give Nissan a much-needed entry for car buyers looking for a practical plug-in hybrid.

The hybrid features two electric motors and a 2.4-liter gasoline engine, with total output of 248 horsepower and 332 lb-ft of torque—with an EPA fuel economy estimate of 64 MPGe, and 26 mpg combined when operating . The Rogue hybrid’s exterior design includes 20-inch dark-painted wheels, black mirror caps, and black exterior trim.

The Nissan plug-in is offered as an SL standard model with a 12.3-inch driver display, a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, and heated front seats—and as a Platinum grade that adds a power panoramic sunroof, heated rear seats, and gloss-black roof rails.

Pricing—which will be critical to the Rogue hybrid’s appeal—has yet to be announced, but expectations are that it will start in the low-$40,000 range, with a fully loaded Platinum model landing in the low $50,000s.

THE IMPRESSIVE 2025 NISSAN ARMADA IS HERE !!!

It’s no secret that Americans live large. Anyone who’s been to Buc-ee’s, the world’s largest convenience store, can attest to that. If you have, you won’t be surprised that we are also the fattest population in the world among high-income countries. So, is it any wonder that we love such full-size SUV stalwarts as the Chevrolet Tahoe, Ford Expedition, Toyota Sequoia and Nissan Armada?

Well, no. We require space, like that delivered by the 2025 Armada.

Sharing more with its international stablemate, the Nissan Patrol, the Armada shares the Patrol’s tailored sheet metal that lends it a more sophisticated appearance. It wears C-shaped lighting, a kicked-up rear pillar and slick floating roof design used elsewhere in the Nissan lineup. At 210 inches long and 83 inches wide, it’s still sizable and built body-on-frame. It’s a true truck, not some poser.

Offered in ascending SV, SL, Platinum, Pro-4X and Platinum Reserve trims, it’s fitted with the Patrol’s optional off-road package for the first time and a 3.5-liter twin-turbocharged V-6 evolved from the one used in the GT-R sports car. And while the Armada’s major bits are all shared with the redesigned Infiniti QX80, the Armada uses regular unleaded fuel rather than premium. Most importantly for many buyers, the Armada uses physical buttons for its climate controls, drive modes and transmission, among other controls. On the Infiniti QX80, they’re on-screen.

Speaking of screens, the Armada comes with two 12.3-inch horizontal screens, one for the driver, the other for the infotainment touchscreen. That’s in addition to a rearview camera mirror, which helps when the car is packed to the brim with stuff. There are also dash cams that record and take photos or videos outside and inside, should you need them.

As you’d expect, the 2025 Nissan Armada comes with standard wireless Apple Car Play and Android Auto and wireless charging on all but the base SV trim. There’s also an incredible Klipsch 12-speaker 600-watt audio system with a clarity and sound quality that’s jaw-dropping.

And, yes, you might expect upper trim levels to have such niceties as heated, ventilated and massaging front seats, although you wouldn’t expect the Armada to have a biometric sensor. It uses infrared sensors to measure passengers’ surface temperatures and adjust the climate control appropriately.

Throughout the Armada, its entire package impresses, as if it’s all been significantly upgraded — or at least more thoughtfully designed. There are the small touches that you’ll appreciate, such as door panels, instrument panel and center console that are wrapped and stitched, rather than merely stamped from molded plastic. And, should you require them, your Nissan dealer has a bunch of canine and camping accessories to customize your Armada.

Some may miss the V-8, but the twin-turbo V-6 provides more than enough muscle to handle this big rig. And while the EPA hasn’t yet rated the Armada for fuel economy, it returned just over 18 mpg in mostly suburban driving.

A brief spin in the Pro-4X reveals it to be as capable off-road as on. Being so wide, its side-view cameras are especially helpful on tight trails and in corners, although those who park in tight parking spaces will appreciate them as well.

Prices start at just over $56,000 before destination charge and top out below $80,000. That makes the 2025 Nissan Armada a compelling value compared to the Infiniti QX80 and its fancier trim. It’s easy to be impressed with its mix of technology, crisp design and roomy comfort. It’s truly one big kahuna.

THE NEW 2025 NISSAN MURANO PROMISES TO BE THE PERFECT CROSSOVER

First glance, the new Murano looks kind of like a blend between an Ariya and a Kicks. On the one hand, you have a rotund silhouette with sweeping trim forming an arc over the entire greenhouse. On the other, the front end features a very split set of headlights, with rows of horizontal daytime running lights in the grille. It’s a long face, but something has to wear it.

Mind you, there are some details to the design worth giving Nissan props for. The committee for exhaust tip honesty will likely be pleased that Nissan specified hidden turn-downs rather than fake exhaust tips, the everything-all-at-once alloy wheels are arrestingly funky, and the layering of vertically finned, diffused elements inside the full-width taillight treatment is so choice.

Under the hood, you’ll find Nissan’s VC-Turbo two-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine. It makes 241 horsepower and 260 lb.-ft. of torque and comes paired with a proper nine-speed torque converter automatic transmission, the same sort you’d find in a Pathfinder. No CVT here..

While the lack of a hybrid powertrain option does feel like a miss compared to the hybrid-only Toyota Crown Signia and hybrid-optional Hyundai Santa Fe and Kia Sorento, the decision to go purely combustion probably won’t matter much to the target audience of the Murano. Instead, Nissan’s spent the money where fuel-agnostic buyers will notice it the most — in the cabin.

Open the door of a loaded 2025 Nissan Murano and you’ll be greeted by quilted leathers, warm neutral tones, and a two-spoke steering wheel that lays out the order of business — this thing isn’t sporty, it’s about cruising in comfort. Mind you, the capacitive-touch climate controls likely aren’t the most comfortable things to use if experience with the Ariya electric crossover is anything to go by.

Speaking of tech, how about that digital gauge cluster and that infotainment screen under one panel of glass? Two 12.3-inch screens that largely eschew flat design will happily give you more information than you ever knew you wanted, while a sleek hood for the screens ought to enhance legibility in bright conditions. Of course, Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are on deck for SV and up trims, while SL and higher trims get Google Maps built-in, if you might find that useful.

Add in available 64-color ambient lighting, optional ventilated and massaging front seats, an available 10-speaker Bose sound system, and a new exterior camera view that effectively lets you see through the hood, and it’s hard to think of any extra gizmos you might possibly want.

The 2025 Nissan Murano promises to be a perfect crossover . While we don’t know how much the new Murano costs just yet, for comparison the Infiniti QX50 starts at $44,350. While the Infiniti is 7.9 inches shorter and 3.1 inches narrower than the Murano,

Expect pricing to be announced closer to early 2025, when the new Nissan Murano is expected to roll into showrooms. It’s been an automotive eternity between model changes, and while we welcome the new Murano, we also hope it won’t be sticking around for a full decade like the last one did.

THE BEAUTIFUL NEW 24 HYUNDAI
SANTA FE
ITS FINALLY HERE AND LEASE LINE
HAS THEM IN STOCK NOW

The all-new Santa Fe presents a bold, new, upright design for a rugged-yet-sophisticated appearance. Designed from the inside out, Santa Fe features increased dimensions for cargo loading, with a liftgate opening that is nearly six inches wider and two inches taller than the previous generation. Santa Fe’s wheelbase and length have also increased about two inches for increased passenger comfort and standard three-row seating. SE through Limited trims offer second-row bench seats, while the range-topping Calligraphy model gets power-adjustable second-row captain’s chairs, allowing Santa Fe to comfortably accommodate either six or seven passengers based on trim. Santa Fe even offers easier access to roof storage thanks to innovative self-concealing grab handles integrated into the C-pillars.

A turbocharged, direct-injected 2.5L turbo, making 277 horsepower is standard. Also available is a 1.6L turbocharged hybrid powertrain generating 178 horsepower (231-hp total system output). The 2.5T model is mated to an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission, while the hybrid is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. All trims are available in either FWD or AWD, with the exception of the outdoor-focused XRT, which is available exclusively with AWD.

Several new standout features are available on the Santa Fe. A new standard dual-hinged center console allows both front and rear passengers to access the front center console, making it easier for second-row occupants to also access what they need. All 2024 Santa Fe models feature OTA1(Over-The-Air) updates, allowing the vehicle’s software to be updated wirelessly with minimal downtime. An available 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster seamlessly connects to the 12.3-inch navigation display, offering a premium, easy-to-use interface to access features like music, vehicle settings, and navigation. Wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto® connectivity are standard. Available dual-wireless device charging, a UV-C sanitizing compartment, and camera-based digital rearview mirror are also new.

The 2024 Santa Fe XRT also receives some major upgrades with increased capability in mind. For the first time on any Hyundai vehicle, All-terrain tires are standard on XRT, paired with unique black-finish alloy wheels. Thanks in part to its 30-inch tires, the XRT also boasts increased ground clearance (approximately +1.3 inches). XRT also features improved towing capacity (from 3,500 lbs. to 4,500 lbs. rating), uniquely rugged exterior and interior trim, and standard HTRAC® AWD.

NEW 2024 HYUNDAI SANTA FE REVEALED !!!
RANGE ROVER KILLER !!

Hyundai’s nearly all-in on its electrification efforts, but it hasn’t forgotten the bread-and-butter SUVs that have brought it this far. That’s why we’re seeing an all-new Santa Fe for 2024, the model’s first complete makeover since 2018, bringing a striking change in the Santa Fe’s appearance.

The first and most impactful change with the update is the Santa Fe’s styling, which has been transformed into a boxy, beefy-looking family hauler. Hyundai said it used the Santa Fe’s shape to convey a sense of grandeur, giving it a high hood, sharp fenders, and unique H-shaped headlights that follow other H-ish shapes in the front fascia. The SUV gets 21-inch wheels and now looks the part of a serious off-roader. The automaker also stretched the Santa Fe’s wheelbase, and while we don’t have the new measurements, the change should improve ride quality and interior space for the popular SUV.

Hyundai said it designed the new Santa Fe with lifestyle use top of mind. The interior features fold-flat second- and third-row seats and follows the same H-heavy styling that the SUV’s exterior wears. Hyundai equipped a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster in a curved panoramic display and said that the Santa Fe’s cabin offers contrasting upholstery colors and high-end materials throughout. Sustainable materials headline the interior design, with portions of the headliner and seatbacks made from recycled plastics. Even so, the SUV gets more traditional luxury accents like wood trim and available embroidered Nappa leather.

We don’t have specs or details on the new Santa Fe’s specs and configuration, but the images Hyundai shared appear to show a 2.5T badge and HTRAC script on the rear of the SUV. The automaker plans to share more detail during a full launch of the Santa Fe next month . Hyundai also recently showed off the Ioniq 5 N, so it’s shaping up to be a busy year for the Korean automaker.

THE NEW 23 HONDA CRV IS
A SHOW STOPPER !!!!

If you think you see Honda CR-Vs everywhere, it's not your imagination. The CR-V is Honda's most popular vehicle, and Honda claims it to be the bestselling crossover for the past 25 years. It's not surprising that Honda took a careful approach with the sixth-generation version that debuts for 2023, with the LX, EX, and EX-L models powered by the same engine as before.

The CR-V gets an all-new exterior design, arguably the biggest change. A bluff new nose should help the CR-V shed the cute-ute image associated with past versions. It's not just a styling trick. The latest CR-V also has a longer wheelbase, a greater overall length, and a fractional increase in width. It has just about grown into the footprint of the original Honda Pilot—the wheelbase, in fact, is identical. No wonder it looks all grown up.

Whereas that OG Pilot was a three-row conveyance, the CR-V continues to seat just five, though it does so in a roomy, airy cabin. The rear seat in the outgoing CR-V was already one of the most spacious in the segment, and Honda has added a bit more legroom this year. A nearly flat floor makes the rear-seat middle position viable, while ingress and egress are a breeze front and rear. Behind the rear seats, there's 39 cubic feet of luggage space; cargo volume expands to 77 cubes with the rear seatbacks folded. For the driver, the narrow A-pillars have been moved nearly five inches rearward, and the cowl is lower, making for improved forward visibility.

The two powertrains are both making a return appearance, but whereas the hybrid has been heavily revised, the standard engine—a turbocharged 1.5-liter inline-four—is effectively carryover. Its musters the same 190 horsepower and 179 pound-feet of torque as before and is again lashed to a continuously variable automatic transmission. Grunt is dispatched to the front wheels or, as in our EX-L test vehicle, all four.

The new CR-V benefits from a stiffer body structure and additional sound insulation that makes it quieter than before. Foot to the floor, we measured 74 decibels, versus 78 decibels previously. The hybrid, though, gets additional sound-deadening measures and is quieter still, by two decibels under full-throttle acceleration and by one decibel during 70-mph cruising.

The new CR-V's interior is also free of the frustrations that can arise from weird or wonky switchgear. The shifter has moved from the lower dash in the outgoing model to a more normal position in the center console, and we're glad to say it remains a traditional shift lever rather than a dial or a toggle. The climate controls are three simple dials (with the vents neatly integrated into the dash trim). All models now have partially screen-based instrumentation and Apple and Android phone mirroring. The EX gets a 7.0-inch touchscreen with volume and tuning k***s, while the EX-L upgrades to a larger 9.0-inch display but sacrifices the tuning k**b. Plentiful storage space makes life easy, and despite being only mid-tier in the CR-V's five-trim hierarchy, our EX-L's interior had a handsome if straightforward design and quality materials.

The CR-V's easy everyday livability, overall competence, and lack of obvious downsides earned it a 10Best award this year. That award tells you that the CR-V hits its marks—and the hybrid version just does so a little bit better than this base-engine model. Both are likely to be just as ubiquitous as their forebears.
