🔧 Midweek Reminder!
Take a look at your brake fluid level when you check under the hood. If it’s noticeably low, don’t just top it off and forget about it. A low level can indicate worn brake components or a leak that should be inspected.

🔧 Monday Maintenance Tip!
Check your vehicle’s CV boots from time to time. These rubber boots protect the CV joints from dirt and debris while keeping the joint’s grease contained. If a boot cracks or tears, grease can escape and contaminants can get in, eventually causing expensive CV joint damage. Look for splits, cracks, or grease splattered around the inside of the wheel.

🚗 Friday Fun Fact!
Did you know the first cars didn’t have turn signals? Drivers had to use hand signals to communicate their intentions to other drivers. Mechanical turn signals didn’t become common until much later, making early driving a lot more dependent on watching the driver’s movements around you! 👋

🚗 Monday Maintenance Tip:
Your vehicle’s serpentine belt powers important components like the alternator, A/C compressor, and sometimes the water pump. Inspect it periodically for cracks, fraying, or glazing. A worn belt can eventually fail without much warning, potentially leaving you without several essential systems.

🚗 Friday Fun Fact… Did you know?
Early car tires were actually white! The natural rubber used to make tires is light-colored, but manufacturers eventually added carbon black to make tires stronger, more durable, and better able to handle heat and wear. That’s how black became the standard we know today.

Pay attention to how your vehicle feels when you turn the steering wheel. If you’ve noticed new vibrations, pulling, stiffness, or a change in how the vehicle responds, don’t brush it off. Changes in steering feel can be an early sign that something needs attention.

🚗 Monday Maintenance Tip:
If your vehicle has a sunroof, check its drainage channels occasionally. Leaves and debris can clog the small drains around the sunroof, allowing water to back up and potentially leak into the vehicle’s interior. Keeping the area clean can help prevent unwanted water damage.

🚗 Friday Fun Fact… Did you know?
Early automobiles didn’t have steering wheels. Some of the first cars were controlled with a steering tiller, similar to the handle used to steer a boat. The steering wheel became popular as vehicles became faster and more practical for everyday driving.

🚗 Midweek Reminder:
If you haven’t checked your spare tire lately, take a look. A spare that’s been sitting unused can still lose air over time, and discovering it’s flat when you actually need it is the last thing you want. Make sure it’s properly inflated and ready to go.
