Texas Truck & Trailer in Liberty Hill, Texas, is seeking motivated, talented mechanics to expand our team. We're a family-owned shop offering competitive pay and the opportunity for advancement within our rapidly expanding company. We work on a wide variety of diesel vehicles, focusing primarily on class 4 to 8 trucks. We are looking to fill multiple positions, from entry-level to advanced. If you have a working knowledge of diesel vehicles, mechanical experience, a self-starter attitude, and the ability to learn quickly on the job, we want to talk to you!

Reports to: Shop Foreman or General Manager
Hours: Full-time, 8:00-5:00, hourly pay

Responsibilities

Completing services and repairs on vehicles accurately and efficiently
Helping to meet company sales goals with integrity
Maintaining work orders and records with sufficient background to ensure quality requirements are met
Providing mechanical assistance to other mechanics as required
Cleaning and prepping shop as needed
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Knowledge of diesel engine diagnostics and repairs
Ability to read and understand service manuals and wiring diagrams
Ability to meet deadlines
Willingness to work overtime and occasional weekends if needed
Ability to lift more than 50 pounds unassisted
Ability to stand for periods of up to 60 minutes at a time
Working knowledge of torches, welders, and plasma cutters

Requirements

Diesel engine repair: 1 year
Mechanical knowledge: 2 years
Valid driver's license with CDL preferred
