2026 Ranger owners — read this (recall 26C42)

That letter in your mailbox is real: Ford recalled 11,405 of the 2026 Rangers because the 10.1" center screen can lose power and go black, which also takes out the backup camera. No crashes reported — don't panic, but don't ignore it either.

The honest part: Ford is still developing the fix, so there's nothing to schedule yet. When it's ready, the work happens at the dealership, free of charge. Meanwhile, you can look up your VIN at nhtsa.gov, or swing by and we'll check it for you.
