The Lexington Parking Authority has received reports of scam text messages claiming recipients have an outstanding parking citation from LEXPARK. These messages may include fake citation numbers and a phone number to call for payment.

Please note: any text message claiming to be from LEXPARK regarding a citation should be considered fraudulent.

⚠️ What to know:
• The texts may include fake citation numbers and a phone number to call for payment.
• These messages are NOT from LEXPARK.
• LEXPARK does NOT send citation notifications via text message.

‼️ Do's and Don'ts if you receive one:
• Do NOT call the number in the message.
• Do NOT share personal or payment information.
• DO report the message to LEXPARK at 859-231-7275 or [email protected].

LEXPARK is making ON STREET meter parking and our four garages FREE on Monday, February 16th for Presidents' Day. Gates for the garages will be back down on Tuesday, February 17th. 🇺🇸

❗️Please note: this excludes the surface lot at 168 North Upper Street, whose parking spots and meters remain subject to enforcement 24/7 regardless of holidays or weekends.

⚠️ Safety violations will still be enforced by LEXPARK & police.

Due to the extension of the State of Emergency, free garage parking has also been extended until Wed the 28th at 8 a.m.

⚠️ Please note: Vehicles remaining in garages after 8:00 a.m. are subject to standard parking rates.
