I have owned and operated Coreys of Lexington for 38 years. We have been a successful business almost entirely because of word of mouth. We take care of people, they'll in turn continue to take care of us. That is the reputation I have strived to keep with our community for almost 40 years. That is what has made our small business model work for decades.
We've never spent alot of energy online trying to advertise our business. We've considered it, and will continue to, but my personality is people focused. Id much rather engage in person than the internet. Guess im just old school like that.
Having said that, our online reputation does now hold an important place. We dont spend much time working online reviews, im not much of an online person, but there alot of angry people out there, who post alot of angry posts online, as you know. That includes our Google page which has gotten a few nasty reviews over the last few years.
Do we handle every situation to my standard of excellence? Absolutley not, every small business owner feels that way. But some folks who are angry, will just lash out online. It is the world we live in.
I've noticed that our online reputation is almost as important as our in person reputation, and starting now, I'd like to begin to keep those both consistant.
If youve had a good experience at Coreys at any time in the last 38 years, would you consider helping our small business by leaving a 5 star review on Google? And if you know us, or have had a good experience, please recommend us to others in our community who need auto collision repair or service.
As we move forward, we'll be putting out social media content for Coreys, Lexwood kiln, and Going Commando....we are excited and looking forward to being part of the Lexington business community for many years to come,
