34 years ago today, 1991, Dad opened shop here in Lexington Ky in a little 3 bay Ashland service station on Bryan Station Rd. A year later he opened a second location on Alexandria Dr. After a total of 4 years with Ashland we moved to our independent location “Covey’s Auto” on Industry Rd. Where on April 1st 1998 I took over the company. Now 27 years later and tens of thousands of repairs in the books we are still going strong.
We have been in our new facility on Eastland Dr. for 6 years now and blessed to have the clientele and work load that we do. I appreciate everyone of you who have put your trust in us and have been a part of building Covey’s Auto into the #1 repair shop in central Ky.
We look forward to giving you many more years or elite service.

I encounter a lot of different people with a lot of different stories here at the shop. But I’m never prepared when someone comes in and needs something right away because their child has just been shot and killed. God bless the man and the strength he showed this morning while explaining to me his need to be helped right away. I hope your travels are safe. And I hope your son knew as I could see how much you loved him. 🙏🏻😪
